CreditSecurity is operated by an independent publisher based in Melbourne, Florida. We provide educational tools and content related to identity theft risk and protection. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any government agency, credit bureau, or identity protection service.

The Service provides:

A free 7-question Identity Theft Risk Assessment
A personalized risk snapshot based on your answers
An optional full report sent to your email
Comparisons of identity protection services from our affiliate partners
Educational articles and resources

3. Educational Purpose Only

The Service is for general educational and informational purposes only. The assessment results, risk score, and recommendations are not professional advice — legal, financial, or otherwise. They should not be used as a substitute for advice from qualified professionals.

Your actual identity theft risk depends on many factors beyond what our short assessment can capture. The score you receive is an estimate based on common risk indicators and your self-reported answers.

4. No Guarantees

We do everything we can to provide accurate, helpful information. But we make no guarantees about:

The accuracy of your risk score or report
Whether you'll experience identity theft or fraud (regardless of your score)
The performance, features, or claims of any partner service we recommend
The continued availability of the Service

You are responsible for verifying any information independently before making important decisions about your identity protection.

5. Affiliate Relationships

We participate in affiliate programs for identity protection services. When you click a link to a partner and sign up, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. 6. Your Account and Responsibilities

You agree to:

Provide accurate information when taking the assessment or joining our waitlist
Use the Service only for personal, non-commercial purposes
Not attempt to disrupt, hack, or reverse-engineer the Service
Not use the Service to harass others or violate any laws
Not scrape, copy, or republish our content without permission

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Service — including the assessment questions, scoring algorithms, written content, designs, graphics, and software — is owned by CreditSecurity or licensed to us. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

You may share links to our pages on social media and link to our content with proper attribution.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, CreditSecurity, its owners, employees, and partners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill — arising from your use of the Service, even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to $100 or the amount you paid us in the last 12 months, whichever is greater.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CreditSecurity from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, terms, or practices of those third parties. Your use of any third-party service is governed by that party's own terms and privacy policy.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason — including violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute arising under these Terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Brevard County, Florida. You consent to that jurisdiction and waive any objection.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date and post the new version here. For material changes, we'll notify you by email if we have your address. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest of the Terms remain in full effect.
